Megan Cooke

As Director of Development, Megan brings over 10 years of experience building supportive communities where the organization, donors, and the programs benefit from and grow together. Her career focus is connecting passionate people to the causes they care about so they can make an impact. Prior to joining Nature Sacred, Megan’s storytelling, relationship connections, and creativity built and strengthened philanthropic communities at George Washington University, the National Wildlife Federation, and the Inova Health Foundation. Her breadth of experience includes individual and corporate giving of cash and non-cash assets, community relations, donor stewardship, event planning, and online campaigns. Megan graduated with a B.A. from George Mason University and a M.A. from George Washington University. She gets her 20 minutes of nature each day by walking with her rescue dog and husband, gardening, and exercising outdoors. View Full Team
