Shira Goodman


With three years of experience in managing community gardens elsewhere, Shira joined the Filbert Street team as Internal Relations Coordinator and manager of the production garden in March of 2023. Her timely addition to the Filbert Street team perfectly coincided with the beginning of the Sacred Place design and development there.

Especially in an urban environment where many folks only have postage stamp sized yards, its important to me that neighborhoods have a safe space for getting their hands dirty, building relationships and doing good in the community.

Timothy is Program Manager and farmer at Bon Secours Urban Farm in East Baltimore. Prior to this, he worked at The Greener Garden Urban Farm and Community Gardens, in the same neighborhood.
