Peter Conrad

Peter has been an active member of Govans Presbyterian Church for many years. In addition to being a member of the congregation, he also plays music for worship services and volunteers on the Earth Care Committee . Professionally, Peter works as an urban planner and is active in his neighborhood association. He deeply understands the importance of inclusive and accessible public spaces to help facilitate community connection.

Peter has been close to and communing with nature since he was a young child.

I had a grandmother who helped instill this in me. I have always enjoyed outdoor activities in natural settings. Our relationship with nature as a species needs to change quickly. I see the sacred space at our church as the face that we present and share the most with our community. How we care for and nurture that space impacts our community connection.
