Karen Hale


Karen a longtime member of Wesley, and is passionate about gardens and sacred spaces. She is Vice President of the El Rio Reyes Conservation Trust, a local land trust where she can exercise her dedication to protecting and maintaining nature areas. She has been deeply involved in the design and community engagement process for her Sacred Place.

I think every person should have a sacred space to reflect, and find the sacred in nature.

Rachel is a Program Coordinator and Educator at CBF’s Smith Island location. She works with youth from across the Chesapeake Bay watershed, leading immersive trips, facilitating hands-on environmental learning, and inspiring the next generation of Bay stewards.
