Timothy Douglas


Timothy is Program Manager and farmer at Bon Secours Urban Farm in East Baltimore. Prior to this, he worked at The Greener Garden Urban Farm and Community Gardens, in the same neighborhood. At Bon Secours Urban Farm, Timothy runs Workforce Development programs and training in Landscaping and Construction.

Nature is the place where Timothy feels most at peace. His Scared Place is important to him as he has worked hard, collaborating with the community to create a beautiful space for fellowship while growing food to nourish their bodies and souls.


My Sacred Place


Urban Farm, in partnership with Bon Secours Community Works

While the Urban Farm was built for growing and distributing food to the neighborhood, the community also wanted to create an area specifically aimed towards providing a place for their community to come enjoy. They envisioned a space where perennial herbs grew thick enough to smell, where bright flowers grew all season long, and where neighbors could sit and relax: a place of respite and conversation.
