Meet Elizabeth!

When you’re a mighty, nimble organization with big goals, you’re conscientious about who you ask to join your team. Not everyone is willing to eat, drink and sleep All Things Nature Sacred—while keeping an organized, cool head about it.

Which is why we’re delighted to introduce you to our latest hire, Elizabeth Dandy. Elizabeth embodies a unique DNA that aligns beautifully with the Nature Sacred culture—she’s a true believer in the healing powers of nature, a deep thinker, a passionate citizen. Further, she’s got the organizational chops from over 15 years experience serving fast-paced employers: an impeccable attention to detail, clear communications, a penchant for planning. You know, the things you need to keep everything moving swimmingly.

She’ll own a few roles as our Operations Manager — and has already hit the ground running since she started in October 2017. Elizabeth supports the day to day activities of TKF’s Nature Sacred—operations, accounting, resource management—all the trimmings that come with ensuring efficiency as we drive on our goals. Moreover, she will be supporting Erin Robertson, our Executive Director, in her efforts to nuture our Nature Sacred network, our existing Sacred Places in the Baltimore Washington Metropolitan region. Together, Erin and Elizabeth will work to bolster programming and cultivate a strong network of cross-city collaboration among our spaces.

A native Marylander, Elizabeth lives in Annapolis with her husband and 2 children (ages 7 and 9) and 2 dogs (a beagle and a chocolate lab). We welcome her with open arms to the TKF family—and we’re so excited for what’s yet to come.
