Renae Reynolds is an interdisciplinary urban practitioner dedicated to engaging local community members in various research and design initiatives to support their journey toward empowerment and their ability to affect positive social and physical change in their communities. Renae holds a Master of Arts degree in the Theories of Urban Practice, from Parsons New School for Design. She received her Bachelors in Sociology at Queens, College. In 2014, while completing her final years of graduate school, Renae became a Principal Partner of Design+Culture Lab; a research-based social enterprise dedicated to the positive transformation of urban neighborhoods.
Renae works closely with community members on the Rockaway peninsula, a community on the periphery of New York’s urban landscape. She promotes environmental stewardship through collective community action.
