Quinn O’Keefe
As VP Development & Engagement, Quinn brings to Nature Sacred 20 years of experience building relationships with people and organizations that share her passion for nature and social justice. Her expertise lies in creating meaningful partnerships that fuel mission-driven organizations through fundraising and strategic collaboration.
A lawyer by training, Quinn founded Climate for Justice in 2021 to help nonprofits navigate critical moments of transition and change, including in response to the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. She has cultivated major grants from foundations and individual donors throughout her career, strengthening development strategies and building philanthropic partnerships that sustain long-term impact. Much of her previous work focused on supporting initiatives that protect the rights of the marginalized and most vulnerable, especially women and girls in post-conflict settings.
Quinn has held executive and leadership positions with the CEELI Institute, where she led the organization through a critical period of change and expansion, and the International Legal Assistance Consortium. Earlier in her career, she worked at the American Bar Association's Rule of Law Initiative, Human Rights First, and Freedom House, cultivating an extensive network of social justice partners across the international development community. Most recently, she served as President of the Friends of the CEELI Institute, a foundation that supports the rule of law. She is a member of the D.C. Bar and graduated from the University of Michigan Law School.
Quinn lives in Bethesda, Maryland, with her husband and gets her daily dose of nature through long walks on the Rock Creek Trail with her Irish Setter, Kevin.
