Professionally, Jeff is a macro-thinker, dedicating his career to shaping strategy and driving transformation for both people and the planet. Away from work, he’s happiest exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest—embracing camping, hiking, and all things outdoors.This passion for nature extends seamlessly into his personal life, fueling his commitment to the values that Nature Sacred upholds.
For Jeff, Nature Sacred is more than a mission—it’s personal. His friendship with CEO Alden Stoner began decades ago as first-year students at USC and was rekindled years later when Alden returned to the DC area where Jeff lived from 2016 to 2021.
Jeff fondly remembers visiting a Sacred Place along the waterfront to reinstall the iconic yellow journal, a meaningful experience that marked his introduction to the organization. Their connection only grew stronger through monthly calls during the early days of the pandemic—calls that coincided with Nature Sacred’s relaunch as an operating foundation in 2020, further reinforcing their shared value on the importance of access to nature for all.
Jeff deeply believes in our work, noting:
“Nature provides the reset we all need—and not everyone can get into the woods.”
With this conviction, he advocates for green spaces in urban landscapes, supports places of respite for nurses, and remains dedicated to the Firesoul Network.
Jeff’s enthusiasm for our community-driven approach shines through—he calls it a “profound practice.” He has lent his corporate expertise to our growing movement- building as well. We’re grateful for Jeff’s ongoing support, thought leadership, and shared belief that nature is essential to well-being.
