Geocaching: Discovering treasure in the park

The program, in brief:

Geocaching is a great way to get outside and explore an unfamiliar area or your favorite local park. It’s a popular activity that involves using a handheld GPS device or a smart phone to navigate to the location of a hidden treasure — or “cache” — by using its coordinates. While searching for treasure, geocachers are always rewarded by spotting natural wonders in addition to their desired booty (a.k.a caches).

Take part in the program and you will:

  • Experience the thrill of finding treasure
  • Discover new places like AMM’s Park Campus
  • Spot natural wonders while keeping your eyes peeled for treasure
