Bilingual Yoga for Beginners:
In the Garden | At Home

The program, in brief:

This bilingual beginning yoga program, brought to us from the Friends of Patterson Park, home of a much-loved Sacred Place, encourages people to connect to the restorative and healing power of nature through relaxing yoga poses. The pace and dual language of the class makes it accessible to participants of all levels and to English and Spanish speakers alike. 

Take part in this 25 minute program and you will:

  • Gain basic yoga skills
  • Learn relaxation and mindfulness techniques
  • Enjoy in both English and Spanish languages

Presented + Interpreted by: Katie Long

Katie is the Program Director for Friends of Patterson Park. In addition to running free youth and family programs in Patterson Park, Katie, a Spanish-speaker, works closely with leaders, volunteers, and families in the Latinx community. A yoga beginner, Katie is both the interpreter and a participant for Bilingual Yoga for Beginners – In the Garden at Home.

Molly is a certified yoga and barre instructor. Her yoga classes are beginner friendly Restorative/Vinyasa flows. She hopes to bring some peace and relaxation to your bodies and minds with her classes.
