Bright Beginnings is a nonprofit that uses a whole-child, two-generation approach to promote the long-term development and success of children and families experiencing housing instability in Washington, DC. For over 30 years, Bright Beginnings has helped thousands of children and their families experiencing housing instability by providing them with quality care, education, and support during times of hardship and transition. Bright Beginnings offers comprehensive wraparound services to both children and their parents with the goal of supporting families as they take the brave journey from crisis to economic mobility.
Nature Sacred is partnering with Bright Beginnings to integrate a Sacred Place as yet another facet of Bright Beginnings’ comprehensive services. Having a Sacred Place on campus would be a valuable resource for stewarding the mental and physical health of children, families, and staff alike. Furthermore, a Sacred Place could offer a much-needed source of healing for the entire Bright Beginnings community.
