About this Sacred Place
Bench found new home after closing of ASTT.
This Sacred Place sits under a lovely tree, adjacent to the labyrinth in the Sisters’ garden, with a view of the slope beyond. It is frequented and enjoyed by the monastery community and Asylee Women Enterprise members, as well as the surrounding community and nearby neighbors down Joppa Road.
For the Benedictine, community is central to ministry. Their ministries of service and hospitality flow from efforts to strengthen sense of community and togetherness, reflected in the variety of visitors that this site sees.
