Govans Presbyterian Church is a theologically progressive community empowering people to make the world better. They are a More Light Church, welcoming all people into the life and leadership of the church regardless of race, age, sexual orientation, or sexual identity. Among other things, serving others and earth care are core elements of their work.
The church is already home to one Sacred Place, and they would like to add a second Sacred Place to their partnership with Nature Sacred. Their community garden, part of their efforts to steward the planet, is the location of the proposed Sacred Place. Along with their orchard, it provides food for their food pantry and weekly free community meal.
