Thanksgiving Canned Goods Donation and Labyrinth Walk

NE Interfaith Thanksgiving Labyrinth WalkMaryland Hall for the Creative Arts – November, 21st, 2015 at 12:00 pm in support of the Light House Shelter

Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts is partnering with the TKF Foundation for a canned good donation event and labyrinth walk. On November 21st Maryland Hall staff and TKF members will line the Maryland Hall labyrinth – located on the Founders’ Green – with canned goods that will then be donated to the Light House Shelter for the Thanksgiving season. Visitors are encouraged to participate in the lining of the labyrinth by bringing items to donate. Participants will then be invited to walk the labyrinth.

Celebrate Thanksgiving, reflect, and support our local community by donating canned goods for the Light House Shelter and learn how to walk a labyrinth.

Prior to the event, donations will be accepted in the Maryland Hall lobby as well as the front office. Place any canned goods in the boxes labeled “labyrinth walk donations.”

Donations from the walk will go toward the 300 Thanksgiving Baskets the Light House Shelter provides to families in the community. Items needed include:

Canned Sweet Potatoes
Canned Green Beans
Boxed Mashed Potatoes
Canned Sauerkraut
Stuffing and Dinner Rolls
Sugar, Flour and Gravy Mix
Cranberry Sauce
Pancake Mix, and Syrup
Dessert
Brownie Mix, Cake Mix or Ingredients to Make a Pie
