Measuring the Health Benefits of Urban Parks
City Parks Alliance to host webinar on understanding how urban parks have a positive effect on health can help park agencies develop programming with the goal of increasing fitness and overall well-being.  Panelists will discuss current trends in health research, how park agencies can leverage new data, and give an overview of the National Study of Neighborhood Parks that is currently underway in 25 cities.

Streets as Public Places
See first hand through interactive exercises and walking tours how streets can be places!  Project for Public Spaces Streets as Places training is held in the heart of New York City, which has established itself as a leader in street design and multi-modal integration. Over the last 7 years, New York has become a laboratory for innovation through dozens of Department of Transportation projects that have their roots in PPS’s NYC Streets Renaissance campaign effort.
