Jackie Franklin


Jackie serves as the Admin and Property Manager for St Luke’s Youth Center, also known as SLYC. Jackie oversees the after school club; MOMs(Moms On a Mission) which is a SLYC parent and caregiver group that meets to address the needs of the families and community and finds a way to accomplish the goal, and Camp Imagination SLYC’s integrated Summer Camp. At SLYC, Jackie supports both kids and families in the community, growing forward as one.

Nature and her Sacred Place is important and valuable to her community because it offers calm and peace to all.

It may be small but has everything we need. It has a place for our children to play. Even a place for us parents to take a moment for ourselves. The trees and nature around it gives it such a peaceful place to just relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature, literally in our own backyard.

Dick began his journey towards becoming a Firesoul back in 2017 when he co-founded a Pollinator Micro-Habitat/Garden Classroom on the Mt. Royal Elementary Middle School campus in his Bolton Hill, Baltimore neighborhood.
