Belmont Commons Cultural Park is located in the Belmont community of West Philadelphia. A Sacred Place would help to facilitate healing in the Belmont Community by providing a much-needed play space for the youth and also serve as an outdoor green space for adults. At it’s completion, Belmont Commons Cultural Park will house a play space for youth, a fitness area for all ages, and an amphitheater for outdoor performances – like the annual shows that are produced every year in Clark Park and Malcolm X Park. Currently, there are no dedicated green spaces in the Belmont Community.
