Kim Cain

Kim Cain considers herself to have been a servant to others for most of her life. Kim taught kindergarten for 30 years and has a deep passion for the welfare of children. After retirement, Kim married her high school sweetheart and began serving on the Ashland City Council where she continues to connect with children and their families. She serves as the Art Camp Director for the Clay County Arts League and the Children’s Ministry Director at her church.

Kim believes connecting to little ones has kept her young at heart! The Stringfellow Garden project has helped her to realize just how much she needs the outdoors to unwind and de-stress during the busy days of volunteer work.

It is amazing how just a little time in the quiet outdoors can prepare me for my busiest of days!

Kim is passionate about the Sacred Place she stewards, and looks forward to continuing to enhance the Stringfellow Garden into an even more beautiful retreat for her community.
