Marianna Previti

Marianna is a resident of the Riverdale community and lives in close proximity to Ravenswood Community Forest. She is deeply involved in community gatherings, organizing events and opportunities to bring folks together in her neighborhood. For Marianna, Ravenswood Community Forest is much more than open land. It is a community’s living room—a place where people gather, celebrate, exercise, relax, connect with nature, and build relationships. She believes that community spaces can create shared experiences that turn a collection of houses into a true neighborhood. As a retired teacher and musician, Marianna is especially focused on providing opportunities for her neighbors to experience the arts in nature.
