Trudy Lowe


Trudy Lowe is Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Preferred Health Services, Inc., in Centre, AL.  She has thirty years of success in financial and management positions in the business and healthcare industry, including extensive hands-on experience in managerial finance, budgeting, accounting, strategic planning and information systems management. Trudy is a  leader with highly developed interpersonal, organization and problem-solving skills that augment her everyday work.

Trudy is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the State of Alabama as well as a licensed Assisted Living Administrator. She works regularly with executives and managers from long term care, rehabilitation and assisted living facilities to help create a quality of life for seniors suffering from dementia, Alzheimer’s, stroke or other life-altering diseases.

Raised in Northeast Alabama, Trudy received her B.S. from The University of Alabama in 1988 and an MBA from Vanderbilt University in 2003. She enjoys being an active member of the community by involvement with her church, participating in the Chamber of Commerce, and being an active member of the Centre Rotary Club, where she served as Treasurer from 2005-2009 and Club President from 2015 – 2016. In 2021, Trudy was appointed to The Cardinal Foundation of Gadsden State Community College and enjoys helping to grow the scholarship program. As of 2021, Trudy serves on the Board of Directors with Farmers & Merchants Bank in Piedmont, AL. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners.

Trudy and her husband now live with their dog in Centre, AL. They have two sons who are busy starting their own families, including four grandchildren. Trudy is a passionate and dedicated Firesoul, and spends her spare time enjoying family-time, gardening, exercise, and reading.
