Chesapeake Bay Foundation

The Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) is the largest independent conservation organization's dedicated solely to saving the Chesapeake Bay. CBF serves nature as they work to restore the Bay and its rivers and streams. Through educational programming, advocacy, and restoration work, CBF aims to leave a legacy of safe, clean water. CBF has been a key part of Nature Sacred since its inception, as the first-ever Sacred Place, known as Inspiration Point, was created at CBF headquarters at the Merrill Center. Since then, Nature Sacred has worked with CBF to create several Sacred Places where visitors can reflect on the importance of this vital environmental resource, and collaborate on community efforts to restore the environment's health.
