About this Sacred Place
Bon Secours Community Works (BSCW) works to enrich West Baltimore communities with programs and services that contribute to the long-term economic and social viability of neighborhoods. Nature Sacred partnered with Bon Secours Community Works to help bring a community vision for Pacific Park to life.
Pacific Park originated as a response to the community’s long-term planning for residential parking needs and securing powerlines from overgrowth. The site is a large greenspace enclosed by homes, making this park like a shared backyard for all the residents in these homes. The design will preserve this large green space, establishing a strong edge through fencing, designated parking areas, and tree lines. The park’s interior will provide a large lawn, shaded areas, seating, flower gardens, and a workout zone.
