Heather Montague


Heather is the Upper School Learning Specialist at the Key School. She primarily support students with writing and executive function skills. Heather also teaches Mindful Self-Compassion for Teens and is a Certified Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness Practitioner.

Our students spend a lot of time exploring outside, and our Outdoor Education program is a hallmark of our school.

Heather uses her background as a mindfulness coach in the Sacred Place, supporting students’ social-emotional growth while also establishing a safe space to rest and reflect.

Dick Williams

Dick began his journey towards becoming a Firesoul back in 2017 when he co-founded a Pollinator Micro-Habitat/Garden Classroom on the Mt. Royal Elementary Middle School campus in his Bolton Hill, Baltimore neighborhood.
