About this Sacred Place
Knollwood is a tight-knit community of people who have a shared history of serving the nation. Situated on a wooded campus adjacent to Washington, D.C.’s Rock Creek Park, the military retirement community at Knollwood seeks to provide its residents with a wide range of activities and ways to be involved in the community. Knollwood offers innovative service approaches and a wide range of unique programs, to suit the individualized needs and desires of its residents. With options from independent living to memory care services, as well as a financial assistance fund, Knollwood is deeply committed to the continued support of all its residents.
Knollwood’s Sacred Place will fit seamlessly into the existing trail system and grounds, frequently used by community members for outdoor activities.
